Studio Group Show and Sale, February 22 - March 31 at Athens Academy, 1281 Spartan Lane.  Hours are 8-4 M-F.  An opening reception will be held on Sunday Feb. 28 from 2-4 pm. Margaret Agner and Leslie Moody were among the award winners in the Monroe Art
Guild's annual winter juried exhibition. Margaret took second place in Mixed
Media for "Contemplation Under the Leaf," a nude with collage leaves added. She
also had an honorable mention for "Big Kudzu," a nature print. Leslie won two
honorable mentions, "Bullrush" and "Brush with a Secret." The Monroe show will
hang until Feb. 24.

Lyndon House Art Center's gala reception for its 35th annual Juried Exhibition
is slated Feb. 21, 2-4 p.m. Many Athens Art members have submitted entries;
those accepted and those tapped for awards will be announced at the reception.
The exhibition will run until May 8.
